Sink or Swim are a swimming school based in Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate. We strive to provide the very best quality swimming lessons across all ages from children to pensioners.

Whether you are a beginner adult swimmer wanting an introduction to swimming skills or an advanced adult swimmer looking to improve your swim strokes or fitness, Sink or Swim provides lessons to meet your needs and personal goals. We integrate private swimming instruction with water safety to develop your comfort and safety in, on and around water.

Sink or Swims certified and insured private swim instructors will travel to you to teach one-on-one private swim lessons in the comfort of your own swimming pool.

Small classes of four children and teachers present in the water provide a safe and comprehensive learning environment for your children.
(Class sizes are 1-8 ratio for rookie lifeguards sessions.)

We currently operate out of 5 swimming pool locations, Grammar school at Leeds, Bradford St Joesph’s Catholic College, Harrogate Ladies College, Moorlands School Leeds and the newly refurbished Leeds Scholes Primary School.

Our Services

Childrens Swimming Lessons

We offer children’s swimming lessons. Working in small tuitions groups we work with your child to enhance their swimming skills and build their confidence in the water. Our swimming lesson are 30 minutes in duration.

3–4 years

Build confidence and safety awareness and begin to learn basic swimming skills. (Max of 4 per class).

4+ years

We develop swimming stroke and skills whilst improving stamina, co-ordination and confidence. (Max of 4 per class)

Personal Swimming Teacher

Sink or Swims certified and insured private swim instructors will travel to you to teach one-on-one private swim lessons in the comfort of your own swimming pool.

Rookie Lifeguard Training

Would you like to learn the basics of being a lifeguard? Develop skills and knowledge in water safety, rescue resuscitation and life saving skills. SinkorSwim offer comprehensive lifeguard training. To learn more and book click here
